Android 8.0.0 with August security patch hits Google Pixel XL

Finally it looks like Google has released Android 8.0.0 update for Pixel XL. The update brings security patch for the month of August which is dated as August 5 2017 along Android 8.0.0 firmware. The update is still not announced to be released for the Pixel XL units but may it’s a Developer Preview 4 update or it is released accidentally.

If the regular roll out for Dev Preview 4 has been started then owners of Pixel devices along other supported Nexus devices will see the OTA update notification soon, if you have also received Android 8.0.0 OTA on your device give us your feedback.
