Verizon updates Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge with July security patch

Last year flagships Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge bonded with Verizon US carrier are getting a new firmware update today. The update brings latest security patch for the month of July along improvement tweaks and bug fixes. The update arrives as build number G930VVRU4BQG1 for Galaxy S7 and G935VVRU4BQG1 for S7 Edge, the update released as OTA, go to settings then About device > System updates. You can also get it via Samsung Kies as well, follow this guide to update firmware on Verizon S7/S7 Edge via Kies.

Although these updates look minor but are very important too, the purpose of security updates is to protect your device from Malware and Exposures that mostly come through internet. If you think the Kies method remained unhelpful then grab the firmware tar file from the links below and update it via Odin.
