Sprint HTC One A9 gets official Nougat 2.18.651.2 firmware
Finally after a long wait, Sprint started rolling out official Android 7.0 Nougat update for it’s HTC One A9. The build number is updated to version 2.18.651.2, rolling out via OTA for the users HTC One A9 users bonded with Sprint and weighs about 1.16GB. If you are one of those users then the OTA is going to hit your device anytime soon. The unlocked variant of HTC One A9 has already tasted the stock Nougat update in mid January, Sprint is late but it is better to be late then never.
The device was running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow so it’s major update bringing the latest version of Android to HTC One A9. The update comes with multiple new features and improvements in over all firmware, if you are eagerly waiting for the OTA just head to Settings > About device > Software updates. You need to have working intenet connection to download the firmware and phone’s battery should be charged 60%.
