Samsung provides it’s Galaxy A5 2017 units with the Blueborne fix update

Earlier today Samsung has started seeding it’s Galaxy A5 2017 units with the Blueborne fix update. The update is live as we speak, you’ll get the update via OTA that firmware version A520FXXU2BQIE and weighing around 76MB. The update brings patch for the newly detected Blueborne vulnerability along August security patch and other minor tweaks in the system.

The Blueborne vulnerability is a security exploit that affects almost all the OS systems including Android, iOS and Windows. This dangerous mobile virus secretly attacks your device that lets the hackers completely get control of your smartphone. We recommend you to update your device on A520FXXU2BQIE firmware as soon as possible to keep your precious data safe from evil eyes.

You can get the OTA directly on your device by going to Settings > About device > System updates, or you can access the Kies method to update the firmware. This is not all you can manually update it via Odin as well, just grab the firmware from here and install it using instructions here.
