Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge gets updated with October security patch

Samsung started rolling out latest security patch updates towards 2016 flagships Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge European variants. The update has landed via OTA in Netherlands that installs security patch for the month of October along under the hood improvements and bug fixes. The updates arriving as build G930FXXU1DQJ1 for Galaxy S7 while build G935FXXU1DQJ1 for S7 Edge.

Samsung skipped the September security patch and directly jumps from August to October, the firmware also brings support for Blueborne fix as well. Although these updates look minor but are very important too, the purpose of security updates is to protect your device from Malware and Exposures that mostly come through internet.
