The Australian carrier Optus is about to start the regular roll out the most anticipated Android 7.0 Nougat firmware for the impatient Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus owners. As we all know that unlocked Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus devices has been given Nougat update months ago while the same devices bonded with Optus (Australia) remained unlucky to taste Nougat. The delay was more likely due to technical issues, while great news is that Optus is going to release the Nougat update for Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy Note 5 anytime soon.
We will post the complete guide on the Nougat installation process just like we do for other Galaxy devices but you can keep track of Nougat update for your device by going through Settings > About device section > System updates. Once you get Nougat update on S6 Edge Plus and Note 5, it will revamp notification shade along more customized option, improvements in Doze mode for more effective battery usage, Split-Screen feature, bundled Notification, quick reply feature from notifications shade and a lot more.
Stay tuned for more news and updates!
