Nokia 8 to get Android Oreo soon, beta update is in progress

Android 8.0 Oreo has been released already for Google owned Nexus and Pixel phones. Now other carriers are all set to seed Oreo flavor towards awaiting devices, just today we have seen Nokia 8 running Android 8.0 Oreo beta update.

HMD Global has already confirmed to release Android Oreo for it’s Nokia device including Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 6. It seems the Android Oreo beta test has been released for Nokia 8 units registered with closed beta program so as of now user registered as beta tester will get the update.

The Chief Product Officer of HMD Global, “Juho Sarvikas” has shared the screenshot of Nokia 8 running Android 8.0 Oreo beta on his twitter account. He further explained that stable Android Oreo release for Nokia devices will happen by the end of 2017.
