Nokia 8 gets first Android 8.0 Oreo Beta test from Nokia

Nokia has finally started seeding Android 8.0 Oreo beta update for Nokia 8. The Oreo Android 8.0 update is available to download if you have already signed up for beta program called Nokia Phone Beta Labs. The beta update first rolled out for company’s latest flagship, while remaining Nokia device will get the beta program later.

According to Juho Sarvikas, chief product officer at HMD Global, the feedback from beta tester will help us to create a much smoother experience and bug free build for the device. Once you get registered with the Beta program but later you decided not to take Oreo beta until it gets stable you can simply de-register yourself from the program to stay on the Nougat firmware.

The other products including Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 will be eligible for beta labs program soon.
