Nokia 7 Launches In China With ‘bothie’ Camera and Glass Back

Just yesterday, it was reported that Nokia is sending invites for it’s unveiling event in Shanghai China. Many were expecting the launch of long waited Nokia 7 but today it seems they were right. HMD China finally pulls the wraps off the new Nokia 7, coming to mainland China in a few days.

The missing gap has been filled with the launch of new Nokia 7, the Nokia 7 includes a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS Display with normal bezels. The device gets mid range specs yet gets some features from the latest flagship Nokia 8, one of such feature is the “bothie” camera, this features allow you capture photos from both front and rear camera at the same time and combining them into a single image.

In the optics department, the Nokia 7 includes a 16 megapixel camera f/1.8 aperture on the rear and a 5 megapixel selfie shooter f/2.0 aperture on the front. The Nokia 7 is just another smartphone after Nokia 8 to include a “bothie” camera.

Under the hood the new Nokia 7 attains mid range hardware specs that lies between Nokia 6 and Nokia 8. The device is equipped with a Snapdragon 630 processor along 4GB/6GB of RAM on board and 64/128GB expandable storage. Nokia 7 is also the first device among Nokia phones that supports a glass back, it’s not normal glass but Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The hardware is powered by a 3,000mAh battery that seems enough juice to run the device through out the day. The Nokia 7 will be running Android Nougat out of the box with stock Android UI, later we assume that the device will Android Oreo update soon.

The regular Nokia 7 4GB of RAM variant will cost you ¥2,499 or US$377 and the 6GB RAM variant will cost ¥200 more or US$407.
