Moto X Play gets Android 7.1.1 Nougat update in Brazil. Back in June when Motorola released Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for Moto X Play in many regions around the globe, since Moto X Play is a non Nexus or Pixel phone that’s why the update takes so long to land. Now it seems the update has landed for the Brazilian region and some users have shared screenshots on Twitter as well.

Moto X Play gets Android 7.1.1 Nougat update in Brazil via 26.31.1.en.01 build

The update has been released via OTA carrying firmware version 26.31.1.en.01, being a major update it will directly install Android 7.1.1 Nougat from Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It is also reported that the device is going to get the Android 7.1.2 Nougat update soon as it can be seen running the latest version of Android on the GFXBench. Well, if you are getting impatient for the update, just head to Settings > About device > System updates.

The update brings many new features along with it, some of the popular Nougat features are, Split screen support, revamped notifications shade, quick reply, integrated Doze mode and much more.
