Moto G5 Plus getting an update to improve video recording/Data network traffic

Moto G5 units are getting latest firmware update from Motorola. Once you install the firmware on Moto G5 Plus, it bumps the build number to NPN25.137-67 and perform numerous minor fixes in the device. The update brings major improvements like enhancing audio in video recording and improvement in data network traffic. Other changes include, VoLTE icon is changed to 4G on the status bar. You can directly check for the OTA, go to Settings > About device > Software updates, you’ll be notified if the OTA is available for you to download.

Manually update NPN25.137-67 firmware on Moto G5 Plus

Download the Stock Android 7.0 Nougat NPN25.137-67 firmware for Moto G5 Plus.

If you downloaded it on PC, connect your device to PC via USB cable and move the file on device storage.

Reboot into recovery mode, and flash the NPN25.137-67 zip file on your device.
