Manually install Galaxy S7 Edge G935F Nougat G935FXXU1DQAN update via Odin

Samsung expands it’s Galaxy S7 Edge Nougat roll out to multiple regions. Today, another Android 7.0 Nougat based firmware update rolling out for Galaxy S7 Edge model G935F in Malaysia and France. The update carries build number G935FXXU1DQAN, the good news is that the firmware tar is now available and in this you would be able to download and install official Nougat XXU1DQAN firmware on your Galaxy S7 Edge G935F.

Galaxy S7 Edge being Samsung’s latest flagship has been given the Nougat treat to the European variant in many regions. First it was available through beta channel but now the final and stable build has arrived, that’s what we are going to install it this tutorial. The G935FXXU1DQAN stock Nougat firmware can be updated via Kies as well, but we recommend you try the OTA update first, go to Settings > About device > Check software updates.

Pre-requisite:

Your device should be charged 70% at minimum to avoid shutting down during the process.

Enable USB Debugging. Go to Settings > Developer Options > Enable USB debugging

Download the G935FXXU1DQAN Nougat firmware for Galaxy S7 Edge G935F. Here

Extract the firmware file in a specific folder on your PC.

Process:

Now turn off your device completely.

Reboot your device into Download Mode, to do so follow this guide

Once in download Mode, follow this guide to update the firmware via Odin.
