Install stock Nougat J530FXXU1AQED on Galaxy J5 SM-J530F [May security patch]

Samsung has rolled out May security update for Galaxy J5 2017 model SM-J530F. Security updates are very important to install on all devices, the May security update for Galaxy J5 SM-J530F is based on Android 7.0 Nougat and carries build number J530FXXU1AQED. The update is live via OTA so if your device is not rooted then you are going to receive the OTA notification any time soon else you can follow the Odin or Kies method below.

Enable USB Debugging. Go to Settings > Developer Options > Enable USB debugging

Download the J530FXXU1AQED Nougat firmware for Galaxy J5 SM-J530F. Here

Extract the firmware file in a specific folder on your PC.

Now turn off your device completely.
