Install Moto G 3rd Gen Stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat ported ROM

Motorola announced earlier that Moto G 3rd Gen is not going to taste Nougat update officially and it will stay on Android Marshmallow. Although Moto G 3rd gen is quite capable of running Nougat update smoothly but as per policy Motorola made it clear that the device will stay on Marshmallow. This announcement proved heartbroken for many impatient users who were expecting Nougat update for their device after Moto G4 and G4 Play.

Here developers at XDA played their role, they gave Moto G 3rd gen a new life by porting Moto G4/G4 Play stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat for Moto G 3rd gen. The ROM features are ported from stock Nougat firmware from both Moto G4 and Moto G4 Play so this ROM gives you a pure feel of stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat firmware on Moto G 3rd gen. The ROM is pretty stable and fully functioned except a few bugs like Video recording and Moto Actions, hope the developer will fix them in the coming updates.
