HTC 10 units getting an OTA with August security patch [build 2.41.709.71]

HTC has started rolling out a new firmware update for HTC 10 in Hong Kong. The latest OTA update for HTC 10 arrives as firmware version 2.41.709.71 and weighs around 250 MB.

This OTA is meant to fix security by installing by latest August security patch along some under the hood improvements and system enhancements.

If you live in Hong Long and wish to download and install the HTC 10 August security patch 2.41.709.71 build on it then directly head to Settings > About device > System updates.

The HTC 10 August patch weighs a little heavier then usual security patch which means it has brought some extra features and improvements. You need to keep your device charged at 60% before installing the update.
