How to turn off the Bixby Assistant on Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus

Finally Samsung’s Bixby Assistant on Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus can be easily disabled, thanks to the new update released for latest flagships. The Samsung’s Bixby was released for Galaxy S8 earlier this year, the devices have got a separate physical button allocated for Bixby. Disable the Bixby Assistant on Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

The button was becoming a headache for some people if un-intentionally pressed and also there was no other option Samsung has left to use this button for other features or apps. Well, now Samsung has added an option to disable the feature in it’s latest update to Bixby assistant in Galaxy Apps store. In this brief tutorial we have posted the instructions to turn off the Bixby Assistant on Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

How to turn off the Bixby Assistant on Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus

Press the Bixby button on the left.

Bixby home UI will appear on the screen

Now press the Setting gear on the top of Bixby Home to open Bixby settings.

From there it’s the time to turn off the Bixby Home by shutting off the toggle button.

The other part of Bixby assistant is the Bixby Voice, which can be shut off from the device Settings.

That’s it! This way you can turn off the Bixby Assistant on Galaxy S8 and S8 plus. You can access the Bixby settings by going into Settings > Apps > Bixby Home > Mobile Data > View app settings.
