How to root Sprint S6 Edge SM-G925P on Android Nougat via CF-Auto-Root (zerofltespr)

Most of the Galaxy S6 Edge variants have tasted their Nougat treat a long ago, now users wanted to get more out of their Nougat running devices. The stock firmware is always clean and without any custom modifications so users unlock more options on their device by rooting it. The root access on a device give access to core of the Android system though the manufacturer doesn’t allow you to root because sometimes it damages the device as well, a rooted device would not get OTA updates.

Upgrading the firmware means you are going to flash stock firmware with factory settings that also removes root access if you had it on the previous firmware. Note: Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925P can be easily rooted via Chainfire’s Auto root package, rooting your device requires flashing the CF-Auto root package via Odin so the process is almost same for every Samsung device. Enable USB Debugging. Go to Settings > Developer options > USB Debugging

Process to root Nougat on Sprint Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925P via Odin

Turn off your phone completely.

Now reboot your device into Download Mode, to do so follow this guide.
