How To Enable Dark Theme On Moto X4

We are writing this brief tutorial for all those Moto X4 Owners who do not know how to enable dark theme mode on Moto X4. As you all know, Motorola has already released Android 8.0 Oreo for it’s flagship line and the mid range devices which includes Moto X4. The Android Oreo brings numerous features including Notification Dots, Picture In Picture mode, Auto fill script, improved battery optimization feature, faster booting speed, smart text selection and a lot more. So far these were the visible changes we have seen, but Motorola has also embedded some extra features in the launcher as well, one of them is the Dark theme option.

The Dark Theme mode lets you change the whole UI from light to dark thus good for the battery health of AMOLED screens. The Dark theme is also useful during night when you use your device in a room where lights are completely turned off so it is easier for you to look at the screen for a long time. Most of the users are unaware of this almost hidden feature on the Moto X4’s stock launcher, you can easily enable/apply Dark Theme option on Moto X4 in a few seconds. Just follow the simple step below to enable Dark Theme On Moto X4.

How to Enable Dark Theme On Moto X4

Unlock your device move to the Homescreen (Desktop)
Now Press and Hold the Homescreen for a second, you will see three options below. (as shown above).
Now tap on Settings and enable the last option ‘Dark Theme’.
That’s it! This option will completely transform the whole UI into Dark.
