Motorola is gradually releasing stock Android 7.0 Nougat update for it’s supported device. Moto G4 and G4 plus are getting the stock Nougat update in US, the update brings build number NPJ25.93-13 and rolled out via OTA. If you are an owner of Moto G4 or G4 Plus and you are in US then you are eligible to receive the Nougat OTA on your device.
Other variants of Moto G4 Plus have already tasted the stock Nougat update and some of them by custom ROMs as well. The Nougat update also brought many new features with it including, Multi-Windows, quick rep from notification shade, Data saver, redesigned quick settings, improved Doze integrations, quick switching previous apps and more.
You need to have at least a well charged phone to update latest firmware on it, find a better internet connection to download the file directly on your device on PC. We recommend you download the Nougat firmware file directly on device t avoid extra effort to transfer it from PC to phone. You can directly check for the OTA, go to Settings >> About device >> Software updates, you’ll be notified if the OTA is available for you to download.

Download the Stock Android 7.0 Nougat NPJ25.93-13 firmware for Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4
If you downloaded it on PC, connect your device to PC via USB cable and move the file on device storage.
Reboot into recovery mode, and flash the Nougat zip file on your device.
