Canadian Galaxy S7 users in Canada are finally receiving the long awaited stock Nougat update from Bell, Telus, Sasktel and Virgin. The update is live via OTA and if you own a Galaxy S7 G930W then you are going to receive the update anytime soon, depends on the device if you haven’t rooted it. The update brings in multiple new features and carries build number G930W8VLU2BQB6. The update is rolling out gradually but if you are getting impatient for the update simply grab the firmware from the link below and install it via Odin.
Since it is a major update so Samsung has put big changes including improvements in camera, enhanced battery saving mode and split screen feature for multitasking. The carrier free devices have got Nougat update several week earlier then carrier bonded devices including Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile got Nougat last month. The stock Nougat firmware can be updated via Kies as well, but we recommend you try the OTA update first, go to Settings > About device > Check software updates.
